All forms and paperwork required for your employment are provided electronically and attached to your employee profile in the BSL Onboarding Portal. Please see information below for an overview of the forms you will be required to fill out and the information you are required to provide.
When your paperwork is available for you to complete, you will receive an email notification. Please access the BSL Onboarding & Self Service Portal via the link provided in the email or the from BSL Hub home page. This email will also include your log-in details.
Please complete all of the forms when requested. If any forms are not completed prior to your first day of work, your ability to work, be paid and use your seasons ski pass, may be affected.
The current forms required include:
This form includes requests for basic information such as emergency contacts and most importantly requires your bank account information for your weekly pay. You will need to have the BSB of your bank as well as the account number where you would like your funds deposited.
All team members (including International team members) must provide bank details prior to commencing work. If your bank account details are incomplete or incorrect you will not be paid.
International team members – Please create a bank account with whichever Australian bank you prefer. If you are currently overseas you may be able to apply online with some banks and set up an account prior to your arrival. Otherwise please do this upon your arrival in Australia prior to arriving to Mt Buller for work.

During the season if you wish to update your email address, bank details or super fund information or if you are not receiving your payslips, contact the Payroll Office on email@example.com
Tax File Declaration+
This is a standard form provided by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) in order to declare your tax status. This form needs to be completed each winter season. Information on how to complete the form is provided by the ATO .
**Please note, if an Australian Tax File Number Declaration form is not supplied within 28 days, you will be taxed at a higher rate (the minimum rate of 49%)**
International Team Members– Everyone who works in Australia must have a Tax File Number (TFN). You can only apply for this once you are in Australia. If you have not applied for your TFN, please do so as soon as possible. You can apply online using the following link; Apply for tax file number.
Your TFN will be posted to you at the postal address you provide on the application form. You may use the following address for all mail you wish to receive while at Mt Buller:

Are you a resident for Tax purposes? You will be asked on your Tax File Number Declaration Form if you are a resident for tax purposes. If you are unsure of your status, find out here.
If you have applied for your TFN but have not yet received it, you still complete the form. Use ‘111111111’ in the fields for your tax file number and tick the box in Question 1 “I have made a separate application/enquiry to the Tax Office for a new or existing TFN”. You will be required to inform the Payroll Office once you receive your TFN.
All Team Members must have a Super Fund Account and are required to provide this information to BSL.
Payroll will be unable to process pay for anyone who has not elected a superfund and provided that information to the Payroll office.

Work Authorization for International Team Members+
Team members with Working Holiday Visas will be required to provide passport information in addition to your visa grant information prior to commencing work. A copy of your visa grant is also required. You will not be able to commence work until this information is verified. 400 Visa holders will also be directed to provide this information prior to the applying for visas.

BSL needs to be satisfied that you and others are not exposed to unacceptable risks through your performance of the full range of the duties required by your position. Therefore, this form requests that you inform the company of any injuries or illnesses that may affect your ability to do your job

As part of the onboarding activities, when you receive your contract you will be asked to read through your position description attached to the email. By signing your contract, you acknowledge that you accept and agree to the duties in the position description as well as contract terms and conditions.
Season Pass Waiver+
This form outlines the duties and responsibilities of all lift pass holders, including team members.
Staff Services Agreement+
This agreement outlines polices and procedures about living in staff accommodation as well as utilising staff transportation. All employees must sign this document regardless of if they live in BSL accommodation or not.
