PROCARD & DEPUTY

Pro Card is the scheduling and timesheet system for Ski & Snowboard Instructors working with BSL. To access Pro Card click HERE.

Deputy is BSL’s scheduling and timesheet system. You are able to download the Deputy app to your own phone to be able to check your roster, see communication via the News Feed and put in leave requests.

Download the Deputy app via Apple Store or Google Play

Once your contract has been signed, you will receive an email to set up your Deputy Account.

***DEPUTY is not applicable to Snowsports Instructors – Pro Card is the scheduling system for Instructors***

 

 

POST OFFICE

Mt Buller Post Office is located in the Information Reception Desk of Alpine Central.

Open from 8:30am – 5:00pm daily throughout the snow season and Mon – Fri 8:30am – 5:00pm and Sat & Sun 10am – 4pm during off season.

TRANSPORT

BSL offers a complimentary staff bus service to and from Mansfield for BSL team members. The bus timetable varies during the ski season according to demand – this can be found on the home page. If there are schedule changes, it is communicated on ProCard, Deputy, BSL Crew FB group so lookout for these announcements.

Within the Village there is an ‘intra-village shuttle loop’ which operates throughout the day and has three routes along Stirling Road, The Avenue (Ski School) and Summit Road. Everything is also in walking distance, sometimes walking can be a faster option.

 

MEDICAL CENTRE & EMERGENCIES

IF IT’S AN EMERGENCY call 000. Ambulance Victoria and Victoria Police are based on Mt Buller and provide 24 hour emergency assistance.

Ambulance Victoria is available for acute transfers to the hospital. In the event that you require hospital services you will be transported to the closest health services that has the capability to meet your needs.

(Hospital transfers are not cheap, especially from the mountain – make sure to check that Ambulance cover!)

Trauma and accident services / Mt Buller Medical Centre – Mt Buller has a first class urgent and trauma care system with our Ski Patrol team. Our highly trained and specialised Ski Patrollers attend to injuries on the ski field and transport people to the Medical Center if needed.

GP Services – If you need to see a General Practitioner whilst you are on the mountain, we encourage you to reach out to your local GP as they may be offering telehealth consultations and can provide the best personalised care. If they are not providing telehealth consultations, you can call GP2U, Australia’s largest telehealth provider to book online. Bookings can be made on-line 7 days a week from 7am-7pm.

 

NON SNOW ACTIVITIES

Mt Buller also offers non-snow activities for those rainy, white out days or even the days you want to give the legs a rest!

PHARMACY

Mt Buller does not have a pharmacy on the mountain – there are two pharmacies in Mansfield who are able to arrange medication delivery for a fee if required

PAY

Pay week is Monday through Sunday and your pay is deposited weekly directly into the Australian bank account you have nominated through your onboarding documents. Deposits are typically received by Tuesday evening or Wednesday following the end of the pay period. Payslips are electronic and are emailed to you via the email provided during the recruitment process.

Bond for staff accommodation and/or rented uniform is typically taken during the first two weeks of your employment and conditions permitting, returned in the staffs last pay cycle when departing. Rent is deducted in full each week.
